Therapie
Antineoplastika > Andere Antineoplastika
Indikation
Symptomatische Behandlung des fortgeschrittenen, nicht-resezierbaren, metastasierenden oder rezidivierenden funktionellen Nebennierenrindenkarzinom.
Dosierung
Mit fettreichem Essen, in 2–3 Gaben.
>18 J.: initial 2–3 g tgl. (hoch symptomatische Patienten: 4–6 g), dann alle (1–)2 Wo. erhöhen bis zu Plasmakonzentration von 14–20 mg/L.
<18 J.: initial 1,5–3,5 g/m2 tgl., dann bis 4 g/m2 tgl. erhöhen.

Kontraindikation
Gleichzeitig mit Spironolacton. Fortpflanzung bei der Frau (bis Mitotan in Plasma nicht mehr nachweisbar ist), Schwangerschaft «FI», Stillzeit (bis Mitotan in Plasma nicht mehr nachweisbar ist).
