Anwendungsmöglichkeiten: Monotherapie bei West-Syndrom (<9 J. und geistig Behinderte «FI»).
>18 J.: initial: 1 g tgl. in 1–2 Gaben, Tagesdosis wöch. um 0,5 g erhöhen, Erhalt: 2–max. 3 g tgl. in 1–2 Gaben.
2–18 J.: initial 40 mg/kg tgl. in 1–2 Gaben, Erhalt (in 1–2 Gaben): 10–15 kg: 0,5–max. 1 g tgl., 15–30 kg: 1–max. 1,5 g tgl., 30–50 kg: 1,5–max. 3 g tgl., >50 kg: 2–max. 3 g tgl.
1 Mon.–2 J.: West-Syndrom: initial 50 mg/kg tgl. in 1–2 Gaben, evtl. erhöhen bis 150 mg/kg tgl. in 1–2 Gaben.
